Running through prose and poetry
Trying to become
I forgot who I already was
Only pointing at who I wanted to be

My dreams became an obligation
Words the rock I was clinging to
Life felt hazy
I was blinded by what had to come

A world crumbling down
Emotions let loose
No longer able to surpress
Splinters in my hands
Hope started to regress

My dreams were made of glass
Fragile
